BANANA SOUR CREAM BREAD

1/2 CUP OIL

1 CUP SUGAR

2 EGGS

3 RIPE BANANAS MASHED

1/2 TSP VANILLA

1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM

2 CUPS FLOUR

1 TSP BAKING POWDER

1 TSP BAKING SODA

1/2 CUP RAISIN (OPTIONAL)

1/4 TSP SALT

1 CUP NUTS

1/4 TSP CINNAMON

CREAM TOGETHER OIL AND 1 CUP SUGAR UNTIL LIGHT. BEAT IN EGGS, MASHED BANANAS AND VANILLA. ADD SOUR CREAM AND BLEND ON LOW SPEED. IN A SEPARATE BOWL COMBINE THE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA AND SALT. GRADUALLY ADD THIS TO THE BANANA MIXTURE AND BLEND. IN ANOTHER BOWL MIX THE SUGAR, NUTS AND CINNAMON. GENEROUSLY GREASE A 6 1/2 CUP RING MOLD OR TUBE PAN. SPOON HALF THE NUT MIXTURE AROUND THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN AND ADD HALF THE BATTER. SPRINKLE WITH THE REST OF THE NUT MIXTURE ON TOP OF THIS LAYER. COVER WITH THE REST OF THE BATTER. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE. COOL 5 MINUTES AND REMOVE FROM PAN.
